Welcome to the
Duneland Weavers' Guild home page!

Come join us: Our meetings are open to the public. We encourage not-yet weavers and non-weavers as well as weavers to come participate in our programs.

On February 11, our program will be the Weavers' Challenge.  Five weavers will show and tell about the projects they wove, each using one of Lisa's lovely impulse-buy skeins of yarn (see the weavers and skeins in the photo below).  A sewing workshop on working with handwoven fabric to make garments will follow in the afternoon.

Why I am a Guild Member

I have been in Duneland Weavers' Guild since 1988.  I am not a weaver but a knitter since 1960 and a spinner since 1998.  I value the guild for all the wonderful programs we've had and for all the friends I've made through the years.  DWG has something for everyone and you can always learn something new.  Making jewelry and doing beading with Anita Mayer is one thing I've learned.  I've enjoyed all the programs even when I don't understand them.  The program we had in October about warping the loom was very interesting.

To inspire us to look ahead to our January meeting when we will plan the friendship coverlet project, two members brought in two beautiful friendship coverlets made earlier:
